Hello out there in web site land. Apolgies for the blatant publicity but I have had a book published !

Called ‘Tales of a Lakeland Angler’  it’s published by the lovely people at Medlar Press and the first copies arrive yesterday.  Although I wrote it over a few months back there is something different about actually seeing it in a proper book layout. I hope folks enjoy it, especially as hopefully there is another one to follow but if you are stuck for a Christmas present for the angler in the family………

Very Happy Eric
It’s not every day I get a proper book published,  hence the grin!

Meanwhile, in other news.. as the summer draws to a close I’ve ben busy catching roach and perch on the lakes. There is far better general fishing up here in the Lake District  these days than many people realise and with a tub of maggots and a few bags of groundbait the old vertical quiver tipping has been doing the business again. The other pictures are of Harrison, one of my grandsons and we had a cracking session the other day with some superb roach and perch showing up. Phil Done appears again and with a move to Windermere due next month I’m looking ahead to some slimy sesions with the big bream down on there as well as the Autumn pike fishing.

In these darkening days with all else happening in the world it’s good to have something to look forwards to. Stay safe.

Eric
