Hello there all you web surfing anglers. After what seems an age of troubles with computers BT are finally doing something about the phone line. For our part the fishing line has been tight as can be for most of this wet summer. Catches of most species have been great with some good pike ( we had one 4 ounces under 20 lb last week) lots of big perch and some fine trout fishing. WE even have a run of salmon in the river !!!Dave Bradley from APEM had this one on Monday on a fly from the same lie as his previous springer. And several other fish have come along off both Eden and Derwent. Trout fishing has been really good and I have found a stream with lots of small but free rising wild fish. Whether I tell of its location I’m not so sure as sometimes these locations are best left untouched …although I guess an occasional visit will do no harm. I’ll update when I have more time. Fis to catch and clients to catch ‘em!
